Ryley Facility

The Ryley facility is a hazardous waste transfer station as well as a secure landfill located in east central Alberta, a western Canadian province. This facility is permitted to accept all hazardous wastes with the exception of explosives, radioactive wastes and infectious wastes. Although the Ryley facility is prohibited by permit to treat hazardous waste on its site and cannot import hazardous waste for landfill disposal, it can import non- hazardous waste for landfill disposal.
