Fence Line Testing

Every year since 1994, the Lambton Facility has hired independent specialists to survey the quality of the ambient air at a variety of locations in and around the site.

Using methods approved by the Ministry of the Environment, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health, the contractors collect air samples directly downwind and upwind of the facility and test for the presence of certain elements. Results of the testing are submitted to the Ministry of the Environment. Anyone wishing to view those results can do so by visiting their local Ministry of the Environment office. In Sarnia, that office is located at 1094 London Road.
