Consulting & Engineering Vertical Market Account Manager, Contact: Taylor Correll

The Consulting & Engineering Vertical Market Account Manager reports directly to the Consulting & Engineering Market Sales Manager and is responsible for the increase or maintenance of a required minimum base of revenues and number of customers within an assigned industry vertical. Responsible for revenue growth within a specific vertical.  Revenue growth must be aggressive and consistent from year to year.  Directly responsible for meeting and exceeding the revenue expectations on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.  Must be a “Subject Matter Expert” for the vertical market and customers within the vertical.  Knowledge includes but is not limited to vertical industry knowledge, customer requirements, relevant line of business capabilities, an in-depth understanding of the competitors and their capabilities, and opportunities for new market and customer development.  Extensive Travel is required High School diploma or equivalency BS/BA Degree (preferred) 3-5 years industry experience preferred.

Pharmaceutical & Biotechnology Vertical Account Manager reports directly to the Vertical Sales Manager (VSM) and is responsible for revenue development and account maintenance at existing and potential clients within a specific assigned Industry Vertical.  Responsible for revenue growth from an assigned portfolio of active accounts and prospects within an assigned Industry Vertical.  Growth must be aggressive and consistent from year to year.  Directly responsible for meeting the revenue expectations on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.  Serve as environmental service “Subject Matter Expert” for the accounts in the Vertical Market represented by the Customer.  Knowledge includes but is not limited to the customers’ industry, financial performance, strategic drivers, overall organization and decision-making, competitive service providers, relevant line of business requirements, an in-depth understanding of customers’ current and future needs for Environmental Services.  Extensive Travel is required High School diploma or equivalency required B.S. /B.A. degree (preferred) 3-7 years sales/management experience 3-7 years industry experience.  Valid drivers license with clean driving record.

The essential elements of the position include, but are not limited to: Make chemical pickups throughout customer facility as directed. Conduct chemical bulking/consolidation as required. Responsible for proper packaging of waste to maximize efficiency and maintain compliance. Ensure work area maintained in a neat and orderly manner. Participate in spill response on customer’s site as needed. Attend all compliance and safety update meetings. Inspect drums for container integrity and regulatory compliance. Operate forklift in a safe manner. Responsible for the safe loading and unloading of waste hauling vehicles. Conduct waste stream sampling and profiling as necessary.
