Vacuum Dewatering Containers

Purpose of Vacuum Dewatering Containers (Boxes)

  • Ideal for projects that require a vacuum to siphon sludge and solids into a liquid tight container
  • Required box when the waste product contains high water content and is not a strong candidate for pumping into a vacuum truck. This box will separate water from the sludge minimizing weight for a cost reduction in disposal
  • Come in a standard 25 yard size
  • A micron filter liner is typically placed in the container to reduce solid intrusion into the liquid phase. Liners are purchased separately as they are a one time use item. The waste being processed in the container would dictate filter liner type

Benefits of Vacuum Dewatering Containers (Boxes)

  • Dewatering reduces the waste volume, save cost and results in reduced transportation weight
  • T-Gasket door for exceptional sealing
  • Turbo-style incorporates a center weir panel increasing the dewatering surface area reducing the time to remove liquid from a sludge stream
  • Fixed interior grating with liner hooks allowing for a variety of filter options
  • Various 8” flange ports and several 4” ports are common on most units
