Condenser & Heat Exchanger Tube Cleaning

Clean Harbors Industrial Services offers various processes for cleaning tube bundles, inlet feed water vessels, and any other type of tube exchanger system.  Scheduling a routine tube cleaning will improve vessel efficiencies and cut down on unwanted forced outages.

Chemical Cleaning

Chemical cleaning is the ideal cleaning method when there is a closed loop system or the internal shell requires removal prior to cleaning. Chemical applications are circulated through the vessel and heated to dissolve scale buildup in areas that water and brushes can not reach.

High Pressure Water Jetting / Blasting / Hydro Lazing

Excess scale that can not be removed by traditional methods or boilers where a flame or spark can not be present benefit from hydro jetting and lazing.

High pressure water jetting and lazing utilize a flexible lance, which propels itself through the tube bundle as the nozzle cleans the walls of foreign debris, barnacles, scale and other materials.  The result is a greater heat transfer within the unit allowing the customer to cut down on fuel use and expense.

Brush Cleaning

This conventional method utilizes plastic, nylon or other type of material, which is formed into a brush-type of plug and propelled through the tube with the force of water and air, scraping the walls clean.
