Small Quantity Generator Programs

Generators of small quantities of hazardous waste may be conditionally exempt from many of the state, federal and provincial regulations and eligible to participate in a Conditionally Exempt Small Quantity Generator (CESQG) Program.  Conditionally Exempt Small Quantity Generator (CESQG) Programs provide a means of reducing disposal and transportation costs, and the generally higher financial burdens small businesses face when managing their hazardous waste through a contractor.

CESQG / SQG Program Design and Implementation

After evaluating your unique community needs, budgetary conditions, and program goals, Clean Harbors will provide recommendations for the specific type of program components, public education and outreach, and data gathering and evaluation.  We then guide you through the implementation process.

Collection and Management

Clean Harbors identifies, segregates, packages, transports and disposes of all material received from CESQGs and SQGs.  We can schedule appointments, quote disposal prices and collect the disposal fee.

Regulatory Assistance

Clean Harbors supports your CESQG / SQG program with regulatory assistance at the local, state, provincial and federal levels.  Our specialists can alert you of changes in existing regulations and implementation of new regulations as well as provide guidance for compliance.  All services are provided with strict internal regulatory oversight.
