Facility Based Cylinder Management

Clean Harbors’ primary cylinder disposal facility, located in La Porte, Texas, is the home base for our cylinder operations nationwide.  Our Deer Park, Texas incinerator, located one mile north, provides direct line incineration with glove-box operations to ensure the highest level of safety for our employees.  The La Porte and Deer Park cylinder processing facilities provide Clean Harbors with unmatched cylinder disposal capabilities in the industry today.

Our La Porte facility has the permits and processing equipment for a wide array of packaged gases with technologies including: recycling, neutralization and advanced hydrolysis, chemical oxidation, bulking and transferring, controlled venting, and unknown sampling with identification.  A wide array of materials can be accepted including flammables, poisons, corrosives, pyrophorics, oxidizers, and reactive gases.

• “High Hazard” cylinders including Pentaborane and Tetrafluorohydrazine
