Large Storage Tanks

We have the expertise and experience to handle large storage tanks of all sizes, from 250’ diameter storage tanks with floating roofs to 150,000 barrel fixed roof storage tanks.  Centrifuges, filter presses, and thermal treatment units can be mobilized to your site to process tank waste to achieve significant volumetric reduction of waste contents. Through the use of our specialized equipment and unique chemical treatment, Clean Harbors can substantially reduce the costs for transportation and disposal of tank waste.

Lagoon, Surface Impoundments

Clean Harbors provides dewatering and pressing services in settling ponds associated with wastewater treatment system surface impoundments.  Floating dredges utilize cable and winch conveyance systems to systematically move across surface impoundments for precise waste removal operations. With dredging capabilities up to 15 feet, waste can be pumped great distances to the dewatering system location and processed with recessed chamber presses as well as membrane presses.
