Fuel Blending

Capabilities to Support Customer-Driven Needs: Ozone Depleting Substance Destruction

Clean Harbors has the ability to incinerate Montreal Protocol identified ozone depleting substances. These substances have high global warming potentials and, in some cases, contribute over 10,000 times more to global warming than carbon dioxide.  The compounds include typical refrigerants such as CFCs and HCFCs, fire suppression chemicals such as Halons, and Carbon Tetrachloride.

Light Bulb Recycling Services
